Jessa C. Suganob works with image and text-based explorations and collaborates with Los Baños-based small press Magpies and its arts & criticism platform The Basement. She is interested in mapping her family’s transgenerational trauma ensuing from their entanglements with the Philippine militia since the 1940s. She hails from Opol, Misamis Oriental, and writes and translates between English, Tagalog, Binisaya, and Hiligaynon. Her latest publication can be found in the fourth journal issue of Cardiff, Wales-based small press LUMIN.
